Privacy policy

Stadence lets you browse college-football information without an account. This policy explains the information we use when you choose to sign in or use community features.

Information you provide

If you create an account, Stadence stores your account identifier, username, optional display name, avatar and favorite team, messages, Wire Takes and replies, Agree reactions, follows, blocks, reports, predictions, poll votes, points, notification preferences, and device push token. Apple, Google, or Supabase email authentication verifies your identity; Stadence does not receive your Apple or Google password.

GIFs on The Wire

When GIF search is enabled, the search term, country setting, and a random app-install customer identifier are sent to GIPHY to return results. The identifier is not an advertising identifier and is not connected to your Stadence account. Stadence stores the selected GIPHY ID, remote GIPHY media links, dimensions, title, accessibility description, rating, and creator/source attribution when provided. Stadence does not upload or rehost Wire photos, files, or GIF media.

Diagnostics and product activity

Stadence collects limited product-interaction events and Apple MetricKit performance, crash, hang, and other diagnostic reports. We use this information to keep the service reliable, diagnose failures, and improve performance. Diagnostic records may be associated with your account identifier while you are signed in.

How we use information

We use information only to operate accounts, live rooms, safety controls, predictions, leaderboards, social features, requested notifications, support, security, and reliability. Stadence does not sell personal data, serve behaviorally targeted ads, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

What other fans can see

Room messages, Wire posts, usernames, avatars, favorite-team identity, and public profile activity can be visible to other users. Reports, blocks, individual Team Pulse votes, device tokens, account preferences, and diagnostic records are restricted. Only aggregate Team Pulse counts are public.

Storage and retention

Data is processed with Supabase in the United States and retained while your account exists or as reasonably required for security, diagnostics, legal compliance, and abuse prevention. A small read-only Wire snapshot may be cached on your device for offline viewing. Deleted Takes are scrubbed of text and GIF metadata; an anonymous “Deleted Take” marker may remain where replies require thread structure. Anonymized moderation audit events are retained for no more than 90 days. Deleted data may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire.

Your choices

You can export or permanently delete your account from Settings. Export includes your Wire Takes, GIF metadata, reactions, follows, blocks, and reports. Account deletion removes associated Wire content and metadata, community activity, social relationships, notification references, and linked telemetry, subject only to the anonymized audit and temporary backup retention described above. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
